Black Lives Matter: Social Media's Missed Opportunity
In the 1900's when racism in America was at its peak worst, the anti-racism movement yearned for a louder voice. The voice they desired was only created recently, with the rise of social media. According to Bijan Stephen, social media would have been the savior to blacks living in that time period, and claims that is the reason for the enormous prevalence of the "anti-racism" movement today.
